Do I need to be regulated in order to introduce business to Citypoint?

No, however you will need to be operating legally in your jurisdiction.

How do I view my client accounts?

You will have a ‘read only’ Manager login, this will give you access to view your client accounts.

Who does the du-diligence on my clients?

If the clients are contracting with you, then it will be your responsibility.  If the client is contracting with us then we will do it although it will be your responsibility to gather the required documentation.

How do I get remunerated for the business I introduce?

We have a range of generous remuneration schemes, some related to $ per lot, others related to P&L sharing and commissions or rebate, or a mix between more than one scheme. Please contact us to find out more .

How often does commission get paid to the Introducer?

Commission will be paid to you on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed.

What kind of after sales support can I expect?

You will be given a dedicated account manager in order to support you.

How flexible are you with the types of setup that an Introducer can have?

We are very flexible, the whole business model of Citypoint is based on customised solutions and offers.

How do I open an account with Citypoint?

Citypoint deals with professional clients and few very experienced retail clients who can open an account for not less than $20,000. Please fill in the Request More Information form to speak to us about opening an account.

How long does it take to open an account with Citypoint?

Once we understand your requirements we will endeavor to send you an offer in one business day, if you are happy with the offer and fill in the relevant agreements we will get the account open within one day of the documents being approved.

Where is my money held?

Barclays Bank in the UK.

How do I transfer my money to Citypoint?

We only accept wire transfers to our bank account.

How long does it take to withdrawal money from my account?

We will process your payment the same day if the withdrawal request is received by 12:00pm GMT.

Who do I call if I have a question regarding my account?

You will have a direct contact number for an account manager who will be able to help you.

What is the minimum funding requirement in order to open an account?

For an Individual or Corporate account the minimum is USD 20,000, if you open an account through an Introducing Broker then it is down the Introducer.

What Products are available through Citypoint?

A range of FX, soft commodities, Bullions and indices, all as a Contract for deference (CFD).

What margins will be applied to my account?

We can apply a percentage margin (e.g leverage 1:100 etc) or a fix margin (e.g. $1,000 per lot).

How will I be charged for my trading?

Commission may be built within the spread, or a flat fee may be added per lot traded.

Will I incur overnight financing charges?

Charges may be applied to roll a position overnight.

Who do I call if I can’t trade through my platform?

The dealing desk or your account manager, there will always be someone on hand during office times to help.

Can I run automated trading strategies through Citypoint?

We do allow strategies to be used, but you will need to discuss them with us before they will be allowed on the system.

We are fully authorised and regulated in the UK by the FCA, Our FCA reference number is 606110.

How long have Citypoint been established?

We have been trading since 2008.

Where are Citypoint based?

We are based in London, in the centre of the financial district.

What client money protection do Citypoint offer?

All clients’ money are kept segregated from the company money, this mean that the client money has the Trust status provided by top UK banks in the UK.
